UO Origins - Pre-T2A Ultima Online Free Shard

UO:Origins was created with one goal in mind; to recreate the authentic experience of when Ultima Online was first launched in 1997 (Pre-T2A). This time period is unique because it brings various gameplay styles and allows them to interact in one single world. The ultimate sandbox experience. Whether you enjoy PvE, PvP, RP, exploring, or being a craftsman, you are challenged to depend on each other with very few game mechanics to hold your hand. It sounds daunting at first, but UO veterans know that this creates the best MMORPG experience possible.

Since development began, our only design goal was to stay 100% true to the era. This means what when you play UO:Origins, you are playing the closest thing possible to the original Ultima online. We will never modify the gameplay from this era to favor a certain playstyle or for something that is out-of-era. Development decisions have been based on Patch Notes from the time (everything up to the release of The Second Age), and other valid sources of information. This is as close as any freeshard is going to get.

UO:Origins uses RunUO 2.0 and runs on high-end dedicated servers.
