UO Origins was created with the single goal of recreating the authentic experience of Ultima Online when it was first launched (Pre-T2A). Our time frame is early 1998. This time period brings together various gameplay styles for the ultimate sandbox experience. Whether you enjoy PvE, PvP, RP, exploring, or being a craftsman.
Our only design goal was to stay 100% true to the era. You are playing the closest thing to the original Ultima Online. We will never modify the gameplay from this era to favor a certain playstyle or for something that is out-of-era. Development decisions have been based on Patch Notes from the time, and other valid sources of information.
