Step One - Install the Ultima Online Client

 

Step Two - Install Razor and Server Information

  • Download the latest version of Razor using the link below:
    http://www.runuo.com/razor/Razor_Latest.exe
    Note: Razor requires that you have Microsoft's .NET Framework installed on your computer. If you do not have this installed, you can get it here.

  • Press the Okay button and Ultima Online will launch.
  • Once you enter your username and password, your account will be automatically created.
  • If this is your first time playing UO, please check out the Playguide section to learn the basics of the game and how to get started.

 

Step Three (Optional) - Install Artwork Patch

  • The following step is completely optional. Overtime, EA has changed and "improved" some of the graphics in Ultima Online. For some, this might affect how they feel while playing the game. To help emurse yourself in to this era, we are providing an optional artwork patch that will change the updated graphics back to how they used to be.

  • The Optional Patch is available for download here: PreT2APatch.zip
  • Once downloaded, run the executable and it will patch your art file and make the nesessary changes. (You may backup your art.mul file to revert)

 

Step Four (Optional) - Install Old Music

  • This will replace UO's modern music with our MP3 conversion of UO's original MIDI music released by Origin Systems in 1997.
  • The music is available for download here: UO Origins Music.zip
  •  How to Install:
    1) Browse to your Ultima Online\Music directory
    2) Either rename or delete the current 'Digital' directory found inside
    3) Unzip the new 'Digital' directory into your Music folder
